These sun dried cane juice crystals is made from 100% certified organic sugar cane. This sugar cane is grown in Ecuador in highly mineralized volcanic soil. It is fresh pressed, then sun dried, and then put through a cooling process to crystalize. It is a "first crystallization" sugar which means the cane is harvested, the juice is extracted, all impurities are removed and then it is crystallized. This is all done within twenty-four hours of the harvest. Because it is far less processed than traditional white sugar, it retains a natural blond color and a delicious natural taste.

Sun dried cane juice is a healthy alternative to refined sugar. While both sweeteners are made from sugar cane, sun dried cane juice crystals do not undergo the same degree of processing that refined sugar does. Unlike refined sugar, the nutrients are retained and available. People who have tried this delicious sweetener have reported no sugar reaction even when eaten on an empty stomach.
