Banana is the fruit of the plant Musa paradisiaca or Musa acuminata, and believed to have been originated in Southeast Asia and Australia.
Known as the “banana bread” of the raw food world due to their intense flavor, these Longevity Warehouse banana bites are organic, tree-ripened and sundried bananas from heirloom Ecuadorian banana trees that are grown in mineral-rich soil.
Sun-dried bananas are naturally sweet, low in fat and high in fiber.
Low in sodium and high in potassium, bananas are said to be good for maintaining blood pressure and reducing the risk of hypertension, heart diseases and atherosclerosis. They are also a good source of carbohydrates, are low in fats and have no cholesterol.

These Tree Ripened Sun Dried Banana Spears are grown in highly mineralized volcanic soil and are made from Ecuadorian Red Bananas. Red Bananas are a variety of banana with reddish-purple skin. They are smaller and more plump than the common yellow Cavendish banana. When ripe, raw red bananas have a flesh that is cream-to-light pink in color. They are softer and sweeter than the yellow varieties, with a slight raspberry-banana flavor. Red bananas have a deep red or maroon rind when ripe. The redder the fruit, the higher the carotene and vitamin C levels.
Red Bananas are Low-Fat and Sodium-Free. They are a great source of fiber and potassium, as well as Vitamin C & B6.
Our red bananas are allowed to tree ripen under completely organic growing conditions and are then carefully hand picked at the peak of freshness. In order to maintain the maximum amount of nutrients, our Banana Spears are air dried, and never heat dried. The finished product contains no additives or preservatives. These banana spears have the same flavor characteristics of a freshly peeled banana!
